Manvel Is Two Towns at Once
Ride Highway 6 across town and it flips back and forth on you. Pasture, a lean-to barn, a horse trailer parked in the grass. Then a stone entry sign, fresh sod, and a gate into a master-planned section. That split is the entire job for us out here.
On one side of the fence somebody has a barn stacked to the rafters with feed sacks, cracked troughs, and a tiller that quit turning over a long time ago. On the other side somebody in Pomona is pulling out builder carpet they never liked, in a house that is barely broken in. Different piles, same truck, same free quote.
Both of our trailers yard in Pearland, which puts Manvel on the near end of our map instead of the far end. That is the boring reason we can get out here often, and why a same-week slot is realistic even when the calendar is stacked.
Barns, Pens, and What Is Behind the Shed
Horse property builds a very particular kind of pile. Feed room clutter. Rotted tack and split halters. Cracked water troughs. Roll ends of field fence, T-posts, welded panels swapped out a couple of seasons back. A mower deck nobody has started in years. It all ends up behind the barn because there has never been an easy way to move it.
Moving it is the job. On acreage we can usually back a trailer right up to the barn door or the pen gate, which is the fastest and easiest way we ever work. If you have already pulled a run of fence or torn out an old pen, stack it where a trailer can reach and we will clear the whole line in one visit.
Long private drives are normal here and they are fine with us. We just want the details first: caliche, gravel, shell or dirt, how it sits a day after rain, whether the culvert entrance pinches in, and whether there are limbs hanging low over it. If the ground looks soft we will stage nearer the road and shuttle rather than leave ruts across your place.
One Thing We Will Not Do
We do not take structures down. No barns, no sheds, no outbuildings, no walls. That is not a scheduling excuse. We are insured to haul, not to pull a building apart, and we would rather tell you no now than say yes and hope it works out.
What we do is everything on either side of that. We will empty the building down to bare floor before your contractor shows up, and we will come back and clear the pile after the crew is gone. Brush Rows, Fence Lines, and Green Waste
Acreage grows things whether you want it to or not. Every year there is a fence line that has swallowed itself in vine, a tree row that dropped half its limbs, and a burn pile you never quite got around to burning. Plenty of folks would rather not burn at all, and on a windy afternoon out here that is a reasonable call.
So we load it. Limbs, trunks cut into manageable lengths, pulled shrubs, palm fronds, and the general green mess a few acres throws off. One favor worth doing: bring it into a single pile if you can. One pile loads a lot faster than five scattered ones, and a faster load is an easier day for everybody.
Storm work follows the same pattern here, only spread wider. Wind crosses open ground in Manvel with very little to slow it down, so the debris lands everywhere instead of in one heap. We work it in passes until the property is clean.
