Most roll-off companies around Houston quote a low number that quietly carries a weight allowance, usually about 3 tons, then bill $75 to $95 for every ton you go over it. Our landfill charges us by the yard instead of by the ton, so we have nothing to pass along to you. Fill it to the rail and the price does not move. Brush, fence panels, and barn clutter fill a can by bulk long before weight comes into it, and either way there is no weight fee on it.
We call it the No-Scale Rate. The roll-off companies that charge by weight do it because their landfill bills them by the ton. Ours bills us by the yard, so a full dumpster costs us the same whether it is couch cushions or roof shingles.

Set It Where the Work Actually Is
Most of Manvel gives us something the closer-in suburbs never do: choices. On an acreage tract we are not fighting for space at the top of a driveway. We can put the can beside the barn, next to the pen you are clearing, or at the end of the tree row, so nobody wheelbarrows debris halfway across the property to reach it. Tell us where the work is and that is where it goes.
Surface is rarely the obstacle either. Packed dirt, a gravel pad, a shell drive, or firm turf all take the can, and boards go under the rails so the weight spreads out instead of digging in. The two things that stop us are soft ground and no swing room. If the spot goes soggy for a couple of days after rain, tell us up front. If the gate opening is tight or the trailer cannot line up straight, we need to know before delivery morning, not during it.
Overhead catches people out more than anything on the ground. Low branches over the drive and any wire crossing the drop spot will change where the can lands. Snap a photo of the exact spot and text it over and we will confirm it before anybody is standing around.

Slow Loads and Fast Loads
Manvel jobs split cleanly into two speeds, and the right rental length follows from which one you have.
Acreage work is slow loading, almost always. Emptying a barn or a shop means carrying armloads across open ground, and it happens in the cool part of the day, an hour before work and a few hours at dusk. Same with clearing a fence line or dragging brush in from a tree row. Nobody finishes that in an afternoon. Take the week and work it at a pace that does not put you flat on your back.

Out on the tracts, nobody is counting the days a can sits behind your gate. Book whatever term fits the work and forget about it.
Inside the master-planned sections it is a different world. Those communities come with an association and deed restrictions, and some of them cap how long a container can sit in public view. Restrictions vary from section to section, so read your own rather than taking our word or a neighbor's. If yours is strict, the single day and the weekend special exist precisely for that, in and out before anyone writes a letter.
Placement matters here too. We put nearly every can on private property, which sidesteps the question entirely. If your job truly needs the can in the street or on public right-of-way, tell us when you book and we will confirm what the city requires before delivery instead of guessing at it.
