Where We Go in Hitchcock
Town lot, bayou-side street, or a gate a half mile off the pavement, the answer is the same:

After the Wind Comes Through
There is not much between Hitchcock and the water to slow weather down, and open ground means debris does not land in one convenient heap. It gets distributed. Limbs in the front, fence pickets in the neighbor's grass, shingles in the ditch, a section of soffit somewhere in the back.
We work storm cleanup in passes rather than one sweep, because that is honestly how it goes. Front yard first so the place looks handled, then the sides, then whatever ended up behind the treeline. Limbs, cut trunks, torn shrubs, palm fronds, pickets, and general wreckage all ride the same trailer.
If a tree crew has already been through and left you a mountain of cut wood, that is a straightforward job for us and a good one. Call it in at 832-425-7749 and we will get it on the schedule.

The Back of the Lot, Where It All Ends Up
When a property has open ground behind the house, nothing ever really gets thrown away. It gets moved back. Bags of clippings that never made the truck. A push mower that stopped. Pallets. A washing machine. Two rolls of wire and a set of shelves out of somebody's garage.
Clearing that back area is one of our regular jobs here, and there is a genuine satisfaction to it, because you get a piece of your property back that you had stopped counting. Everything goes in one visit if we can reach it, and reaching it is rarely the issue on land like this.
Outbuildings get the same treatment. We open them, empty them, and haul the contents. Worth saying once and clearly, though: we clear buildings out, we do not knock them down. Different insurance, different trade, and we would rather tell you that up front.
The whole reason to hire a small local outfit is that we will drive out to you. Rated 5.0 on Google.

Small Enough to Answer, Big Enough to Show Up
A national outfit runs Hitchcock through a routing algorithm, and small rural stops lose that argument nearly every time. Either nobody calls you back, or you get a window so wide it eats the whole day, or the truck simply never appears.
We are two people with trailers, based right here in Galveston County. Text us and a person reads it. Call and a person answers or rings you back the same day. If we cannot get to you when you need it, we say that instead of stringing you along until you have lost a week.
We also sweep behind ourselves before we leave. Rakes, a broom, and a walk of the area to catch what shook loose during loading. Nobody should have to clean up after the cleanup crew.
The Questions We Get From Out Here
I am on a farm road outside Hitchcock. Will you actually drive out here?
Yes. This is the single most common question we get from this side of the county, usually from somebody who has already been turned down once. We run Galveston County every week and Hitchcock is inside our normal working area, not an exception we make. Give us the address on the phone at 832-425-7749 and you will get a yes or a no right then.
A storm dropped half a tree in the yard. Do you take limbs and green waste?
We do. Limbs, cut trunks, palm fronds, torn shrubs, and the general mess a blow leaves behind all load onto the trailer. Cut anything oversized into lengths two people can lift and drag it toward one spot if you are able. That is not required, it just makes the day shorter.
Can you clear out an old outbuilding at the back of the lot?
Emptying it, gladly. Whatever is inside comes out and goes with us, right down to the shelving and the floor. Taking the building itself apart is not something we do, because our coverage is written for hauling rather than demolition. If somebody else drops it, call us afterward and we will clear the debris off the property.
Does everything need to be at the road before you get here?
No. Leave it exactly where it sits. Back of the lot, behind the garage, out by the treeline, under a tarp, it makes no difference to us. Hauling it to the curb yourself is the hard part of the job and it is the part you are paying us to handle.
There is a good bit of old lumber and decking in the pile. Is that fine?
Perfectly fine. Weathered deck boards, pulled fence pickets, cut rails, pallets, and general scrap lumber all ride well as long as nails are not standing straight up out of the top of the stack. Mixed loads are normal, so do not bother separating wood from household items.
What is the quickest way to get a price for a Hitchcock pickup?
Text photos to 832-425-7749. Stand back far enough that we can see the size of the pile and how a truck would reach it, and mention roughly where you are. Quotes are free, there is no obligation once you have one, and nobody has to drive anywhere for you to find out.
